It’s a new year with new stories and hopefully new readers too! I’m proud to say that this post brings us to the one-year mark of telling these stories here and I’m excited to continue doing so. If you’ve been enjoying these strange little tales then please share today’s post (or any of them really) with a friend who you think would enjoy them too. The past year was all about establishing this page and this year is all about growth. I’d love for these stories to reach as many eyes as possible. Thanks all and please enjoy the first story of the new year: SUPER!
SUPER!
“No, no, no. I really am SUPER!”
“Super how?”
“Super SUPER.”
“So what can you do that’s so super, kid?”
“Well, basically, I, like, have the power to see through walls with open doors or fly for a few seconds whenever I jump or I can sometimes communicate with people vocapathically.”
“Those aren’t very super things to do.”
“There are many more super things I can do. I can teleport anywhere in the world given enough time. I can be invisible behind people too.”
“Again, not very super.”
“Ah, I understand the type of non-super person you are. You’re not interested in everyday kinds of super. You’re only interested in SUPER SUPER, plus you’re, like, the type who needs super proof. I’ll show you. Check this out.”
And then she did something indescribably, incomprehensibly super—the likes of which there are no words suitable for description to non-super people.
