Hello all!
I hope this special Monday edition of this thread finds you well. Last week I teased a project I have been working on for some time, Frogtown. Today, I’m excited to share a bit more about the film and how you can help bring it to life.
Support the film here: seedandspark.com/fund/frogtown
Frogtown is a one-of-a-kind hybrid feature film that combines narrative and documentary to explore the gray area between fact and fiction and ask its audience to reflect on their childhoods. The movie is a meditative look at growing up in Florida, through an absurdist lens. The movie is also only halfway done…
In July, a small crew and I traveled down to Florida to film the first half of Frogtown, the documentary portion. The shoot went great. Not only did we get a chance to meet dozens of wonderful subjects, we also were able to capture the stories of their lives on film and I cannot wait for you all to see these segments of the movie.
But Frogtown isn’t just its doc subjects. The movie is also a narrative story, one that I’ve written to reflect my own experience growing up in Florida. This story is all about a person who never aged out of their passions, no matter how unbelievable. To learn more about the story, check out the video on the film’s crowdfunding campaign here:

The movie is only possible with your help. I’ve been working hard on this project behind the scenes for nearly two years now and can’t wait to bring it to life. Please come on down to Frogtown and share/donate to the campaign as much as you can. Every piece of support is genuinely so deeply appreciated and goes toward paying, feeding, and housing our talented crew of independent artists.
I can’t wait for you to see this movie soon. It’s shaping up to be something special.
Thanks all,
Costa Karalis
